Best Part 107 Practice Test & Prep Courses 2026, Compared
What is the best Part 107 practice test?
The one that copies the real FAA test: 60 scored questions, three answer choices, a 2-hour timer, the official topic weights (Regulations 48%, Operations 25%, Airspace 20%, Weather 5%, Loading and Performance 2%) and an explanation with its source for every answer. Free tests that do most of this exist; paid question banks start at $19.99 and full courses run $129–$299. The comparison is below.
Test facts: FAA Airman Knowledge Testing Matrix (revised Sep 25, 2026), PSI UAG bulletin (effective September 29, 2025). Disclosure: we make the Rotate free practice test and the Rotate Part 107 Pass, two of the options below. Competitor details are what their own pages said on the date shown.

How to tell a good Part 107 practice test from a bad one
- 1
Three answer choices, not four
Every FAA UAG sample question has three options (A, B, C). Four-option banks train you on a different test.
- 2
60 questions on a 2-hour timer
The real test is 60 scored questions plus 5 unscored, 2 hours, 70% to pass. A 10-question quiz tells you little; a full timed test tells you if you're ready.
- 3
Weighted like the current test
Since September 29, 2025 the PSI UAG bulletin weights the test Regulations 48%, Airspace Classification and Operating Requirements 20%, Weather 5%, Loading and Performance 2%, Operations 25%. A bank that is half weather questions trains the wrong thing.
- 4
An explanation with a source for every answer
You learn from the misses. Each explanation should cite the rule (14 CFR 107.xx), the AIM or the ACS task, so you can check it.
- 5
Chart questions on the real supplement, and on current charts
Airspace is 20% of the test, and much of it is asked on the chart excerpts in the supplement (FAA-CT-8080-2H). From October 26, 2026 the FAA adds images of current charts that are not in the supplement.
Where people actually lose points: among our learners, airspace questions are missed most often (see the most-missed Part 107 questions). The full study plan is in how to pass the Part 107 test on the first try.
